SIXR offers the Architecture Engineering Construction (AEC) and Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) Fellowship Programs to provide hands-on experience for underrepresented and at-risk youth in the Greater Seattle area. The AEC program focuses on architecture, engineering, and construction, while the CEA program is centered around controlled environment agriculture, including hydroponics and aquaponics. Both programs allow participants to work with industry-standard software tools and techniques and learn about innovative practices in their respective fields.
These internship programs are designed to provide real-world experience and networking opportunities with professionals in the industry, as well as valuable skills and knowledge that can assist participants in their future careers. SIXR is committed to bridging the digital divide and creating a more diverse and inclusive tech industry for the future, and these programs are just one of the ways the organization is achieving this goal.
